Gearing Up for the Euros (4th December, 2006)

41 Federations have sent a provisional registration for 202 male and 132 female gymnasts to compete in the European Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships in Amsterdam. 7 titles in the Men’s competition and 5 titles in the Women’s competition will be awarded.

They will compete in a qualifying competition (Competition I), the individual all-around Final (Competition II) and the apparatus Finals (Competition III) with 6 apparatus for the men and 4 for the women. There will be no ranking per nation.

The 2007 European Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships will take place in the Amsterdam RAI from Thursday 26 April until Sunday 29 April. Preceding the contests there will be two days of podium training which will also be accessible for the audience. Tickets are available at www.ecgymnastics2007.com
