Harmes Press Conference (4th October, 2006)

Speaking to the Dutch media, Suzanne Harmes has announced she is pregnant and will therefore not being competing at next week’s World Championships. She had thought about taking part in the Worlds but stated that she didn’t want to take any risks and apart from this she is feeling tired. Harmes said she would like to take just a year out of gymnastics and perhaps comeback after then. (Source: NOS Television, Holland).
