Hungary
Troubled by Jet Lag
(16th November, 2005)
Krisztian
Berki of Hungary admitted he was still feeling lethargic on
his second day of training as he struggles to shake off the
effects of jetlag but remains confident going into competition.
The
reigning European pommel horse champion, Berki has confidence
in his own ability.
‘I
know how much I have trained, I know my own abilities, so
I know I will be fine.’
Berki’s
key weapon against strong opponents from China, Japan and
Romania is the ‘scissors’ manoeuvre. According
to team members, no one in the world can perform the ‘scissors’
like Berki does.
