2005 Northern European Championships

From Friday 30th of September - Sunday 2nd October Northern Ireland Gymnastics will host the 2005 Northern European Gymnastics Championships, in the City of Lisburn's premier leisure facility, the Lagan Valley Leisureplex, in Partnership with Sports Council Lottery Fund, Lisburn City Council, Northern Ireland Events Company the Lisburn Partnership and 10 private sector sponsors, including Backflip Gymnastics Magazine!

You will have the opportunity to witness first hand some of Europe's best male & female gymnasts in action just before they head off to the World Championships in Australia! The most talented male & female gymnasts from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Faroe Islands, Scotland, Wales, Ireland & of course Northern Ireland will descend on the city and compete for the coveted Men's Team, Individual & Apparatus titles and Women's Team, Individual & Apparatus titles!

See the likes of former World High-Bar Champion Jani Tanskanen from Finland, European Junior Uneven-Bars Champion Rhian Pugh from Wales and Northern Irelands own top stars Matthew Cosgrave & Katie Slader. Please note that although the schedule has now been finalised, the draw of rotations for the competition does not take place until the night before the competition.
